A MOTORCYCLIST has been banned from the roads for two years after admitting riding his bike while over the drink-drive limit and without insurance.

Jason David Billsborough, 36, of Orchard Park, The Level, Dittisham, was found to have 237mlg of alcohol in 100mls of blood after he was stopped in Strete on November 16 last year – the legal limit is 80mlg.

In addition to the ban, Billsborough was given a one-year community order and told to pay £85 costs plus an £85 victim surcharge by Torquay magistrates on Wednesday.
