Crews from Modbury, Ivybridge, and Kingston attended an incident near to Harraton Cross on the A379 early this morning (January 18) where a vehicle had left the roadway and gone in to a field.

Emergency services were called just before 4am.

One person was freed and the vehicle was made safe.

The casualty was handed over to the care of an ambulance crew and the police are investigating what happened.
