While watching Autumn Watch on TV, I noticed they were getting excited about a roost of pied wagtails in a bush in front of an office block.

Well Dartmouth has two roosts in the palm trees opposite the hospital.

While walking at dusk, I couldn't believe the flurry of birds going into the palm trees – at least a hundred.

As I was only on a short visit, I wondered if they use these palm trees every night.
