Children from a number of primary schools have enjoyed specialist art classes at Dartmouth Academy last week. So far, Blackawton, Stoke Fleming, White Rock and Kingswear pupils have explored a multi media project focusing on identity.

Head of art and design, Nicola Perrott, said, “Using a very creative approach we combine literacy and art and design to create very personal and meaningful pieces of work.

“The pupils unanimously enjoyed the spray painting the most. The intention is to develop family learning so that parents and carers can join in too.”
