New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Hams’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Salcombe Dairy (UK) Ltd, at Car Park Strete Gate, Strete Gate, Strete was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 9.

And Eastern Star., at 5 Woolwell Shopping Centre, School Drive, Woolwell was given a score of three on August 31.

It means that of South Hams's 39 takeaways with ratings, 31 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
