Organisers are delighted to reveal that this year’s main-ring attraction at the Yealmpton Show will be the Dog and Duck Display.
The renowned Sheep Show will also be here to entertain you.
From a countryside marquee, food hall, cakes and handicraft to diggers and tractors, there is plenty at the Yealmpton Show for everyone, regardless of age, to enjoy.
There are two main rings – Ring 1 and the Countryside Arena. Both will be packed full of entertaining things for all to see and enjoy throughout the day.
Rings 2, 3, 4 and 5 host the showjumping, horse and pony showing, children’s fun classes and working hunters.
The Grand Parade is the highlight of the show.
It is a chance for the winning horse, sheep, cattle and goat exhibitors to show off their animals and includes the presentation of the cups.
In the Countryside Marquee you will find a collection of different attractions all related to the countryside, from donkeys, ducks and owls, to alpacas and bees.
There are lots of things for children to get involved in.
The Marquee is located at the top of the show field adjacent to the Countryside Sports Arena.
The show opens at 9am, on Wednesday, July 31, at Yealmpton PL8 2NN. Only £12.50 per adult, £4 per child (age 5-16), under fives go free. Dogs on leads welcome.
