I find it really hard to express my feelings but I couldn’t let this week pass without remembering my dear and devoted Mother who died a year ago this week.

I just want to say to anyone who has suffered a loss of a loved one, especially your own Mum, I know what you’re going through. It’s not been, for me, one of my best years, I’ve found it very tough this year coping with Mum leaving me, its still raw, like your heart’s been torn into two and feels like your world has come crashing down on you.

I miss everything about mum, her chats, her hugs, just her being there for support, its just so final, its heartbreaking.

A lot of people said to me, time will heal, I know life’s got to go on, Mum wouldn’t want me to grieve so much over her, its just taken me a lot longer to move on without her.

Rest in peace my dear Mum.
