I have rescued a large amount of cine film from the recycling centre in Exeter, I decided to get one developed and it is a 3 1/2 minute film of Ivybridge Carnival.
The film looks to be filmed around the early 1970s and contains footage of the Scouts, Guides and Cubs, among other things.
A quick search of the internet shows no listings for the carnival, I was wondering if anyone was interested in the film for personal or historical importance? Is there a local historic film society nearby?
I have a lot of other films yet to be developed and they may provide important and exciting local footage to individuals or societies.
It would be interesting to trace the people in the film as they may wish to see themselves 40 years ago.
