Conservative candidate Richard Hosking has won the South Brent & Yealmpton division in the Devon County Council elections.

The full result was as follows:

GRANADOS Lisette Mai, Labour Party, 340, 7.9%.

HOSKING Richard, The Conservative Party, 2,226, 51.9%

POWER Antony David, Liberal Democrats, 1,312, 30.6%

TISSANDIER Marianne, Green Party, 403, 9.4%

There was a 42 per cent turnout and the total number of votes cast was 4,290.
