I am writing to you in the hope that you can possibly be able to help me out. My boyfriend is a keen follower of football at all levels and as a hobby he collects official supporters club badges from every league and non league football clubs, He only needs about three supporters club badges to have at least one from every league and ex league club and two of those clubs are from Devon, the clubs he seeks mainly are Torquay united and Plymouth Argyle supporters clubs, I have wrote to both clubs but although over the years they have produced at least ten different version of supporters club badges the last were issued a few years ago so no longer have them at the clubs, Torquay United did also say that they did in fact produce a badge from when they were known as Torquay Town football club many years ago.

When I ask my boyfriend what he wants for christmas he replies the supporters club badges that have so far eluded him, this is where I was hoping that you could possibly be able to help me by maybe printing my request in your newspaper in the hope that any of your kind readers may be able to help me by letting me purchase any of the mentioned badges of which I would be very grateful indeed or any information regarding the Torquay town or any of the badges produced by the two clubs.

I do hope that you can be of assistance as I know that he has no other way of obtaining such badges and finally completing his collection and myself getting him the christmas present he deserves. If any of your readers also have any local non league club badges that they are willing to part with I would be more than happy to purchase any to make his christmas a very happy one.
