With the sun shining on the Championship Course, 28 juniors from Dartmouth, Wrangaton, Bigbury, Staddon Heights, Thurlestone, Tavistock and Yelverton teed of for the Strashleigh Cup.

With the course in immaculate order, good scores were expected.

With a fine round from Adam Welton from Bigbury with 39 points and 38 points from Dartmouth's Joe Nicholls, the final result was going to be close.

With 170 points Dartmouth Golf Country Club juniors became the 2013 holders of the Strashleigh Cup with Yelverton juniors in second place.

On the Dartmouth course on Saturday Harry Kerecsenyl continued his winning ways with victory in the stableford, Tom Durrant taking second spot.
