This is possibly the fastest 10-miler in Devon, a combination of road and track taking runners along Instow seafront into Yelland and returning along the Tarka Trail running through a tunnel.
It is a moderately flat course with three small hills. This year for the first time it was full and there were 800 runners who braved it.
Bideford was lovely and sunny although there was a headwind on the way out, which meant in exposed places on the way back the runners had a tail wind.
First home was Artur Szyperek in 1.12.46, he was 48th in his age category and 95th overall, he also got a personal best.
John Hart was next in 1.18.11, placed 165th and 21st in his age category. Marie Jones finished in 1.28.04 was 335th overall and finished third in her category of vet 60.
Ali McGrigor in 1.36.25 was 466th overall and 24th in her age category. All were happy with their performances.
Also on Sunday, another member of DAAC, Becca Hodge, ran the Templer 10, a multi-terrain 10-mile course starting and finishing in the wonderful grounds of Stover School, near Newton Abbot.
The course is 90 per cent off road and runners will have the pleasure of running through the picturesque Stover Country Park as well as the fields at Teigngrace.
Out of 236 runners taking on the Templer 10, Becca finished in 1.29.35 and was placed 133.
