DARTMOUTH AFC drew for just the second time in this Devon Football League campaign on the weekend.
North Molton was the destination for Robbie Bowker’s side and given their run of form, they would have fancied their chances of accumulating three points on the road.
Danny Frankum and Fraser Clarke scored for Dartmouth in the first half to give them a 2-1 lead heading into the break.
The home team scored with a rare chance in the dying embers of the game to snatch a point and after Dart’s goalkeeper went off injured, this made the day all the more bizarre.
After the points were shared in this one, North Molton sit in 13th in the DFL with a record of 2-3-8. Dartmouth meanwhile are sixth, with seven wins, two draws and six defeats from their 15 league games to date.
Next up for Bowker’s boys is a trip to rock-bottom Ipplepen Athletic on the 23rd.
